These areas are safe relatively speaking go to the missouri side , troost, prospect , Cleveland and that's where it happens .

Remember the bars on the Ave back in the late 70's. The Soundtrack, Locker Room. Remember buying albums and concert tickets from Tigers Music or going to Texas Tom's, just to name a few places. Pretty sure, all of that is gone now. Cliff Drive, Budd Park, The Concourse. 3 or 4 places you could buy Italian Sausage and food. Northeast was fun back in the day.

I always wonder what motivates people to around finding the worst neighborhoods and then posting footage and implying that this is what the city looks like. I've taken my daughters thru bad areas of Chicago and other mid-west cities. The number one thing that they pointed out was the garbage everywhere! I grew up in Beverly, so to see people just throwing garbage on the ground as they walked, out of their cars while driving or when they park. What's crazy is the fact that they'll do it with a garbage can right there! Imagine complaining, when that's not how it looked before you moved there! When I was a kid, most areas were predominately white!
